Strong 2025 results set the platform for 2026 growth

Joe Duffy Group has announced another strong year of performance, supported by significant investment across its used car, aftersales and financial services operations. The results demonstrate the resilience of the Group’s diversified business model.

2025 Financial Highlights

• Group turnover: €573 million, up from €540 million in 2024 (+6%).

• Profit before tax: €30.9 million, up from €30 million in 2024 (+3%).

• EBITDA: €39.8 million, up from €38.7 million in 2024 (+3%).

Development and growth at the heart of the Group’s strategy

The Group’s growth strategy is centred on targeted investment in premium facilities, expanded aftersales capacity, a scaled national used car proposition and enhanced financial services, strengthening its diversified business model. The Group will continue to assess strategic investment opportunities across Ireland and the UK that complement its existing portfolio and support sustainable long-term growth.

A key focus is the continued expansion of aftersales operations. Investment in workshop capacity, technical capability and Bodyshop operations is strengthening recurring revenue and customer retention while supporting a growing vehicle parc across multiple brands. In 2025, the Group invested in its North Road Bodyshop, including an approved Porsche Bodyshop, and significantly increased workshop ramp capacity across the business.

In February 2026, Joe Duffy Group announced the opening of Porsche Centre South Dublin, Ireland’s first Porsche satellite centre, located on Rochestown Avenue in Dún Laoghaire.

Joe Duffy ZuCar, national used car operation

The development of ZuCar remains central to the Group’s diversification strategy and its objective of becoming Ireland’s largest used car retailer. In November 2025, the Group acquired its fifth ZuCar premises, a flagship North Dublin location that will become home to its largest Joe Duffy ZuCar operation in December 2026. The destination will feature Ireland’s largest indoor used car showroom, with capacity for 120 vehicles, an extensive workshop facility and a total stock of more than 170 petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric vehicles.

Investment in financial services

The Group is investing further in Joe Duffy Financial Services, its regulated financial services business and a key differentiator in its diversification strategy. The investment will broaden its product offering across retail consumer hire purchase, business and personal leasing activities.

Investing in technology

Further investment in technology will support the Group’s five-year growth agenda, including enhanced websites for ZuCar, Joe Duffy Group and Joe Duffy Leasing, alongside upgrades to its customer engagement portal, “MyJoeDuffy”, process automation, data management and management information platforms.

People powering performance

The Group’s growth continues to be driven by the commitment, professionalism and ambition of its people. With a team of more than 600, the Group expects to recruit an additional 60 people over the next twelve months to support anticipated growth across franchise sales, aftersales, ZuCar and financial services.

Commenting on the Group’s growth agenda, the leadership team said the next phase of development will be driven by targeted investment, brand expansion and job creation, with ZuCar, aftersales and financial services all central to the Group’s long-term plans.

Gavin Hydes, Joe Duffy Group CEO, said: “Our growth plans are focused, ambitious and already well underway. The expansion of our retail operations, the completion of our largest ZuCar facility, growth in used cars, increased investment in aftersales and the development of our financial services business all point to the same objective: building a stronger, more diversified Group that can meet changing customer needs and create long-term value. We have an extensive nationwide property portfolio and continue to assess complementary franchise partnership opportunities. We remain open to further opportunities to grow and diversify in both Ireland and the UK. We are also well positioned to respond to an increasingly competitive market, including the arrival of new entrants offering customers greater choice across a broad range of vehicle technologies and price points. With the strength of our people, our brands and our strong balance sheet, we are confident about the opportunities ahead for the Joe Duffy Group.”
