The newly opened Supercharger site is located at the Belfast Tesla Centre on Boucher Road. The site hosts the first ultra-rapid chargers in Northern Ireland and can be easily accessed from the M1. The four V3 Supercharger stalls are open 24/7 and add up to 75 miles of charge in five minutes and charge at rates of up to 1,000 miles per hour. The ongoing expansion of the Supercharger network will ensure that Tesla drivers are able to quickly, seamlessly and reliably charge their vehicles. See Tesla’s Supercharger map and Go Anywhere Trip Planner to explore where your next trip could take you.

As the network continues to grow across the UK and Ireland, Supercharging remains the most convenient and reliable charging solution available in the UK and Ireland. Auto Express crowned Tesla as the best electric car chargepoint provider in 2022, winning categories including charging costs, speed, reliability and ease of use. Although most electric vehicle owners recharge at home or at work whilst the car is parked, the Supercharger network enables convenient, long distance travel.

Time of Use Supercharger Pricing

Earlier this year, we started rolling out our discounted off-peak Supercharging rate between 10pm and 6pm across at selected stations across Europe.  This has now expanded to all Supercharger locations across the UK and Ireland, including stations open to non-Tesla EVs.

Following recent energy cost decreases, we are now expanding off-peak charging rates to 20 hours of the day. Our on-peak rate now only applies to 4pm to 8pm when the demand for the grid is highest. By charging during non-peak hours, customers will get a lower rate while reducing pressure on their local energy grid. As energy markets evolve, Supercharger rates will be adjusted more regularly—allowing owners to benefit from savings when the cost of energy goes down. Owners can view charge rates at a local station anytime on their touchscreen.
