DS Automobiles Ireland are delighted to announce Leinster and Ireland rugby star Dan Leavy as their new Brand Ambassador. The Grand Slam and Heineken Champions Cup-winning flanker joins the DS Automobiles team at an exciting time for the brand, as it launches in the Republic of Ireland with its stunning range of premium vehicles.
Graduating from St. Michael’s College, Dublin in 2012, Leavy signed his first senior professional contract with Leinster Rugby in April 2015. Leavy has gone on to make 72 appearances since, scoring 17 tries. Dan was a key member of the Leinster squad who made history by winning back to back Guinness Pro14 titles in 2018 and 2019, capping off an incredible 2018 season by winning the Heineken Champions Cup. Leavy has made 11 senior International appearances, including playing a vital role in all of Ireland’s 2018 Grand Slam-winning fixtures, and is currently in training for the 2022 Six Nations.
Speaking of the new partnership with Leavy, DS Automobiles Ireland Marketing Manager, Jana Solovjova, said: “We couldn’t be happier to have Dan on board the DS Automobiles team. He joins us at an extremely exciting time for the brand, as we launch in Ireland with our current range of premium cars featuring the DS 7 CROSSBACK and DS 3 CROSSBACK, as well as the all new DS 4 and DS 9 models due to arrive in early 2022. We are delighted to have a recognised rugby International of Dan’s calibre join us on this exciting journey and I am sure he will make a fantastic Ambassador for DS Automobiles. We wish Dan very happy motoring in his new DS 7 CROSSBACK.”
Sitting behind the wheel of his brand new 225bhp DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE PHEV, Leavy was full of praise for the DS Automobiles brand; “I’m absolutely thrilled to come on board the DS Automobiles team. They have a fantastic line-up of cars which feature exceptional attention to detail and a very premium feel. I am looking forward to working with the team over the months to come.”
