  • Fifth-generation Toyota Prius available exclusively as a Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV)
  • Retail pricing starts from €45,900

The new fifth-generation Toyota Prius is now available at Toyota Ireland dealerships across the country. The eye-catching Prius is available exclusively as a Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) and is priced from €45,900 and €403 on Toyota Finance PCP. With demand expected to be high, customers are urged to contact their local dealership to book a test drive.

The new generation model features a sleek, sloping design, representing a stylish evolution from the original world-popular Prius which has sold over 5 million units to date. Key features include a 12.3” Toyota Smart Connect multimedia system, a new 13.6 kWh lithium-ion battery and 19” alloys.

The Prius PHEV does not compromise on hybrid energy efficiency, capable of doing up to 71km^ in zero emissions mode after a single charge. It embodies Toyota’s commitment to carbon neutrality, offering even more choice to those looking to start their hybrid electric journey. The Prius PHEV joins the ranks of Toyota’s wide range of Hybrid Electrics (HEVs), PHEVs (RAV4), and BEV, the bZ4X. Daily journeys for the majority of Prius PHEV drivers will run like an EV, before swapping to an efficient hybrid model when battery power depletes.

Commenting on the arrival of the Prius Plug-in Hybrid, Zoë Bradley, Head of Marketing Communications and Corporate Affairs in Toyota Ireland said: “We are excited to announce the fifth-generation Toyota Prius has officially arrived to Irish shores and are available for test drives at dealerships across the country. It represents the next generation of one of our most iconic vehicles, combining a powerful driving experience with a sleek new design and features we know Irish customers will enjoy. Demand is already on the rise for the Prius Plug-in Hybrid, and we’re encouraging customers to contact their local dealer today to find out more.”
