Acceleration 2014 is a unique three-day event combining car and bike racing with a two-day music festival. The main race attraction of Acceleration 2014 is the FA1 class (former A1 GP). Additional to the FA1 competition there will be races in two car series (MW-V6 Pickup and Legend SuperCup) and in two bike series (ACC European Stock 600 and ACC European Stock 1000). During the races in all five car and bike classes, national teams will battle for victory. The races are authorized by the FIA.
Acceleration 2014 is organised on ten European racetracks from Friday 25 April (Autodrómo do Algarve, Portimão, Portugal), until Sunday 19 October (Circuit of Assen, The Netherlands).
Acceleration 2014 is a weekend event for the whole family. Training and qualifications are held on Friday and Saturday, races on Saturday and Sunday. On Friday evening the music festival starts with ‘CELEBRATE THE 80s & 90s with The Hoff’, presented by David Hasselhoff and including a variety of famous international artists, and ends on Saturday with a line-up of popular DJs. All three days are a mix of racing, music, entertainment, and fair ground activities that make Acceleration 2014 into an event for the whole family, all at the racetrack.
