BMW’s three specialist divisions – BMW i, BMW X and BMW M – have come together to produce the new iX M60, an all-electric SUV capable of sprinting to 100km/h in just 3.8 seconds. It goes on sale in Ireland this summer priced from €137,515 OTR.
The flagship model of the recently launched iX, the iX M60 uses a dual-motor four-wheel-drive set-up which develops 619hp and a monstrous 1,100Nm of torque – enough grunt to push the large SUV up to a speed limited maximum velocity of 250km/h. According to BMW, a range of up to 566km is available on a single charge.
A specifically M tuned dual-axle air suspension with automatic level control differentiates the M60 further from regular iX models, while a mix of aluminium and carbon fibre in the structure provides increased rigidity and reduces weight. Other unique features include 22” wheels, Soft Close Doors, Laserlights and BMW’s Parking Assistant Professional package. Inside, passengers will be treated to heated, ventilated and massaging front seats trimmed in Suite Natural leather upholstery, a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond stereo and BMW’s Heat Comfort package.
