New Westmeath GAA Jersey with Renault as New Sponsor

The new Westmeath GAA jersey sponsored by the Renault Group was unveiled in Mullingar. Players for the senior football and hurling teams gathered at P. O’Brien’s Renault Mullingar to showcase the new jersey, which for the first time in the history of the county has two brand logos, Renault on the front and Dacia over the number on the back.The sponsorship announcement, made in early January is for the next three years, and will see The Renault Group in association with P. O’Brien Renault in Mullingar and Sean White Car Sales in Athlone as the main county sponsor for the football and hurling teams from minor to senior level.

Senior county footballers including Dessie Dolan, John Heslin, Paul Sharry and Denis Glennon joined senior county hurlers Eoin Price, Niall O’Brien and Derek McNicholas for the launch of the new jersey and were joined by Lynne Boucher, Marketing Manager; Paddy Magee, Country Operations Manager; Kevin Troy, Sales & Network Manager, Renault Group and Ciaran O Brien, Dealer Principle, P. O’ Brien Mullingar and Sean White, Dealer Principle, Sean White Car Sales Athlone.

The three year sponsorship will cover the county’s minor, U21 and Senior Hurling and Football teams and will include the provision of kit and team vehicles.
