SEAT Celebrates 2013 with a 64% Increase in Sales

With total sales figures of 2,190 units for 2013, SEAT Ireland has increased its sales by 64% to confirm its place as Ireland’s fastest growing car brand. This phenomenal year-on-year growth now gives SEAT a 3% market share.

Despite the total car market being down in 2013, SEAT’s consistent commitment to product development and continued investment in its dealer network has ensured sustained growth against this backdrop of uncertainty.

Cian O’Brien, Director of SEAT Ireland commented; “Here at SEAT Ireland, it gives us great satisfaction to see how much we have progressed this year. 2013 has been a phenomenal year for the brand and we relish the challenges and opportunities 2014 has to offer. SEAT’s success is attributed to excellent service, leading efficiency and great value for money, principles which are extremely important to us.

“SEAT is a very ambitious brand and we have introduced superb new products this year, and look forward to the arrival of further new products in the new year including the all new SEAT Leon Sports Tourer in. Undoubtedly, 2013 cements our status as Ireland’s fastest growing car brand.”

2013 witnessed the continued development in SEAT’s dealer network with investment in new showrooms including Brady’s of Cavan and Finbarr Galvin Motors in Cork City. This new era of motoring will progress throughout 2014 with the announcement of Cranley Car Sales of Dublin as a SEAT dealer in the new year.
