ITT Corporation announced today that it will supply its KONI® shock absorbers for Morgan Motor Company’s new “Aero Super Sports” model. KONI® shock absorber are already standard for the “Classic” Morgan V6 and for the “Aero 8” and “Aeromax” models.

Morgan Motor Company, a United Kingdom-based classic car manufacturer with more than 100 years of experience, is a synonymous with exclusivity and craftsmanship. All of their cars are assembled by hand, and they still use many wooden components. Morgan recently increased its yearly production to approximately 800 cars.

Frits Altorf, ITT’s KONI® product manager for OE Car and Racing, said: ”We are very proud of our long prestigious partnership with the Morgan Motor Company, as they not only appreciate the quality of our products, but they share our focus on brand image.”

From a technical point of view the “Aero8” is a non-adjustable, non repairable, mono tube gas coil-over damper (O26 Series), while the “Classic” series is a straight forward hydraulic damper, type 80.
