LEXUS ANNOUNCES REVISED COMPETITIVE PRICING
Lexus Ireland announces a highly competitive pricing structure across its range for 2010, together with the introduction of new model year changes.
The popular IS220d S-design reduces in price from €38,340 to €35,480, a reduction of €2,860 or 7.5%, while the top of the range LS460 reduces from €126,980 to €109,950, a reduction of €17,030 or 13.4%. The reductions across the Lexus range average 9.0%.
The IS220d moves from band D to band C, with a CO2 output of 148g/km, with annual road tax of €302. In January 2010, Lexus will also introduce a front wheel drive version of RX Hybrid, starting from €55,500 and emitting just 140g CO2/km which places it in tax band B, meaning road tax of only €156 per year.
It should be noted that these price changes do not involve any reduction in specification levels.
Commenting on the new pricing structure, Mark Teevan, Managing Director of Lexus Ireland said:
“Through this highly competitive pricing approach, we are clearly signalling to the Irish motor buying public that Lexus is a real and competitive option for them in this harsh economic climate. Our unrivalled package is available to them at pricing levels they have not seen before in this market and just as importantly our dealers are in a robust position to sell new models and give strong value on trade- in values”
