MERCEDES-BENZ HOLDS PRICES ON MAJORITY OF MODELS
Good news for motorists in the luxury segment is the announcement by
Mercedes-Benz that, in their new price list for 2010 just published, prices
for the majority of models have been held at 2009 levels, or lower.
In the case of their entry level E-Class diesel, a slightly lower price of
EUR41,035 is quoted thanks to the recent reduction in VAT – an impact
evident in entry level C-Class diesel and petrol models.
Save for a marginal increase in the order of one percent on Elegance and
Avantgarde versions of their C and E-Class models, plus a slight rise in A
and B-Class models, the majority of prices are unchanged including M-Class,
CLS, S-Class, SL, CL and GL models.
“This is the second year in succession that we have held prices on a large
number of models” their sales manager Ciaran Allen said.
