Peugeot in Ireland have announced the appointment of Castlepark Motors, Limerick and Windsor Airside, Airside Motor Park, Swords, Co. Dublin, to the Peugeot Dealer Network in Ireland.

Open for business immediately on the Dock Road in Limerick, Castlepark Motors is headed by Dealer Principal, Michael Byrnes. Castlepark Motors have been part of the Motor Industry in Limerick since 1987, under the umbrella of the Truckcar Sales Ltd Group of Companies.

A new 7,000sq ft Peugeot showroom has opened at Airside Motor Park, captained by Dealer Principal, Peter Nicholson. Windsor Motors Group was established in 1968 and now employs 300. Ireland’s largest Dealer Group, Windsor Motors Group already operates eight Nissan dealerships, three Chevrolet / SsangYong dealerships and two Opel dealerships in Dublin, Cork and Galway.

Speaking at the signing of contracts at Gowan House, David McConnell, Managing Director of Gowan Distributors, Peugeot Importers in Ireland, said, “I am very pleased to welcome both Michael and Peter and their vastly experienced teams to the Peugeot Dealer Network and I wish them every success for the future as Main Peugeot Dealers.”

He continued, “This is an exciting time for the Peugeot Dealer Network in Ireland. We’ve reduced our retail prices across the entire Peugeot range by up to 10% and added extra equipment to many models. All of our model range qualifies for the €1,500 government scrappage scheme, such is the efficiency of our low-CO2 emitting petrol and diesel engines.”

“Our product range is fresher and stronger than ever and we are currently enjoying many prestigious awards: the newly launched Peugeot 3008 has just won the Continental Irish Car of the Year 2010 award, the flexible new 5008 MPV 7-seater has been crowned What Car? Magazine MPV of the Year 2010 and the eagerly-awaited Peugeot RCZ has been voted Most Beautiful Car of the Year by over 100,000 internet voters at the 25th International Automobile Festival.”
