Topaz, the country’s biggest fuels and convenience retailer has been recognised as one of the Best Workplaces in Ireland for the third year in a row.
This year Topaz secured its highest ever position, making the top ten in a list of the best large workplaces in Ireland.
Once again the fully Irish owned and managed company is the only fuels and convenience retailer to be recognised as one of the best places to work.
The Best Companies study sets out to recognise the finest employers and therefore the most satisfied workforces in Ireland.

Dermot Kavanagh, fuel pricing executive for Topaz started off as a service station attendant in 1999 said what he liked about Topaz was the way the company focused on people development. “Topaz wants people to grow and develop within the company – to learn new skills and gain new experiences. That drives us on as employees and makes the company such a stimulating and satisfying place to work”.
